Illinois basketball has some national attention when it comes to one of their rookies starting in 2022.

On Tuesday, USA Basketball released the names of 27 athletes who have been invited to the USA Men’s U18 training camp. There are some really big names on this list from the Class of 2022, 2023 and 2024. Rodgers is part of this elite group of players.

Joining Rodgers in boot camp are some of the biggest names in the recruiting world. From the Class of 2022, Nick Smith Jr. is the No. 5 player, Amari Bailey is the No. 7 player, and Kel’el Ware is the No. 8 player.
The group heading to training camp also includes big names for 2023 and 2024 such as GG Jackson, Brandon Garrison, Omaha Biliew and Derik Queen.
Rodgers is an elite player who has the chance to show off in front of some of the important people in the basketball world. This is a great opportunity for him to make himself known and face the best players in the country.
